LOCAL company, Redfish Events, who have had to cancel their running events this year due to the pandemic, have introduced a new virtual event connected to the emergency services.
Tracey Hyde from Redfish Events explained, “We have three lovely interlocking wooden medals, Walk, Run or Cycle, 3 routes of your choice
“You choose your distance, 5K, 10K, 15K, 20K or 25K per medal
“You choose the date and time
“You must go past the Emergency Service as per your medal choice – and give a thumbs up or clap as you go past.
“Join in the fun like Andy, who ran all three, Lee-Anne who is 400 miles away in Scotland, cycled and ran. Terri and Penny-Anne are walking their three emergency services along with the dogs.”
