Wiltshire charity Alzheimer’s Support is appealing for volunteers to help out at its weekly ‘Music for the Mind’ group near Westbury.
The friendly, uplifting singing group for people living with dementia and their family carers has been meeting on Tuesday mornings at Fullingbridge Farm since 2012. Volunteers provide a friendly welcome, serve refreshments and join in with the singing. Some, who feel confident to do so, lead small groups of singers when the choir breaks into rounds or partner songs. The group is led by professional singing teacher Caroline Radcliffe.
