Bratton Primary School is inviting everyone to enjoy a fun-filled weekend with its school fete and village scarecrow trail.
The school fete will be held on Saturday 5th July from 12pm to 3pm, offering everything from hook-a-duck and tombola to donkey rides and inflatables on the school grounds.
Running alongside the fete and continuing throughout the weekend, on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th July, is the Bratton Primary School Scarecrow Trail, with this year’s theme of ‘movies’. School families, villagers and local groups have created a variety of scarecrows displayed around the village.

Organisers said, “Seeing the village full of amazing homemade scarecrows will be a delight – it’ll look like a pop-up art installation for the weekend. We can’t wait to see the amazing creations on display!”
There’s also a mini ‘Food and Drink’-themed trail designed especially for younger children, with all the clues hand drawn by Bratton Primary School pupils.
Trail maps are available from Bratton Primary School or the village shop. Cash prizes are up for grabs, thanks to sponsor MJ Buildings.
