Westbury boxer Anthony Fox added to his winning tally on Saturday 21st April after beating opponent, Ryan Aston on points.
Due to the snow, Anthony’s fight in Frome on Friday 2nd March was cancelled, however full of optimism he took a late notice fight to see him face the Celtic area champion, who was ranked number 14 in the UK, in Scotland on Saturday 7th April.
However, due to his opponent failing a brain scan prior to the fight, the fight was again cancelled.
Fortunately, Anthony was given the opportunity to add to his winning tally on Saturday 21st April against, Ryan Aston, an amateur boxing who has fought for Great Britain, who fought with a professional record of 20-4-2. Anthony won the bout on points and put his opponent on the canvas in the final round.
“This is the biggest win of my career,” said Anthony. “I thought I won every round comfortably, even though the scorecard awarded me 40-37, despite me knocking him down heavily in the last round.
