Sounding it Out, a local a cappella performance choir, drawing singers from across Wiltshire and Somerset, is holding its Festive Concert at All Saints Church, Westbury, BA13 3BT on Saturday 7th December at 7.30pm.
They say, “Our programme stretches from ancient tunes to carols old and new, including a few well known carols that you’ll be more than welcome to sing along with us. There will also be a variety of goodwill songs from around the globe, all delivered with joy and verve; a warm and wonderful way to start the celebration of Christmas, in such a glorious setting.
“Sounding it Out raises funds for a charity each year. This year our chosen charity is One25, a Bristol-based charity who help to enable women trapped in or vulnerable to street sex-work. Their website is www.one25.org.uk.
“Tickets are available in advance via contact @soundingitout.co.uk or on the evening at the door. Ticket prices are £6 in advance, £8 on the door, under 16s are free!”
