LOCAL dance school, Just SO Dance recently presented a full-length show at the Wiltshire Music Centre in Bradford-on-Avon.
The main theme of the show was, ‘Around the World’ and included a variety of styles including tap, modern, ballet, jazz and street.
Students from the age of three onwards wore costumes inspired by different cultures such as Indian, Kenyan and Australian.
The school, based in Westbury, was established in July 2007 by the principal Stacey Carter and since then has grown in size and now has about 160 students.
Stacey said, “We are so proud of our students; all their hard work has paid off!”
The other teachers Katie Mence and Harriet Long, who were taught by Stacey, worked alongside her to choreograph the routines and bring the show together. The team presented a tap routine of their own this year using ‘Texas’ as their theme, which left both the students and audience in awe.
This is the third time the school has performed at the Music Centre and already has plans to return next year for a special show to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the school.
