Westbury Infants visited local care homes before Christmas to sing songs and carols to the residents.
Each year group visited a different home and sang Christmas songs they had been practising for the church service they attended and the plays they had performed to parents earlier in the week.
The residents at Westbury Care Home were visited by Year 1 and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They sang along with the children to Away In a Manger. After they sang, the children were surprised with a visit to Santa’s grotto and a chocolate biscuit.
One staff member at the care home said, “This is one of the highlights of the year for them and they love it when the children visit. It’s what Christmas is all about.”
