Westbury Junior School held their annual sports day on Monday 29th June.
Watched by parents and friends of the school, the children competed in a variety of events including an egg and spoon race, a space hoppers race, a sack race and of course a race for the parents!
There was an ‘Olde English County’ theme this year with each class being given an English county to represent. As well as producing the county’s flag, the children also researched sports that originated in the county and any famous people who were born there.
Luckily the sun shone all afternoon and the children and staff had a great time.
