On the last day of term, the children at Westbury Junior school went to All Saints Church to celebrate the Easter festival.
Much of the service was led by the children doing readings and prayers and of course there was some lovely singing.
However, the highlight was the decorating of the cross in daffodils towards the end of the service. Annette Quick, teaching assistant at the school said, “It was very moving to see the children so engaged and involved in the whole of the church service.”
Just before the school left the church, headteacher Richard Hatt handed out an Easter egg to all the children, staff and helpers and wished them a very happy Easter.
