Staff from Longleat took a range of wild creatures to show year three children at Westbury Juniors School recently.
Teaching assistant, Julie Hogarth said, “The staff showed the animals and talked about their habitats and how they adapt, which links with the children’s topic for the term.
“The children had the opportunity to hold and learn about ferrets, tarantulas, scorpions, pythons, cockroaches and even a red tega. They loved the opportunity to hold and stroke a range of different animals though the ferrets were a bit smelly!”
