WESTBURY man, Cyril Huntley, 72, has been confirmed by Wiltshire police as the driver who sadly died following a road traffic collision on Aintree Avenue in Trowbridge at 1pm on Friday 11th March.
Wiltshire police say, “He was driving a blue Honda Civic when he collapsed at the wheel causing a single vehicle collision. His wife Pauline, who was travelling with him, suffered only minor injuries.
“A post mortem examination will now be carried out and a file will be prepared for H M Coroner for Wiltshire.
“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr Huntley at this very sad time.
“Mr Huntley moved to Westbury with Pauline in 2014 and prior to this the couple had spent their lives in Bath. He had three sons and six grandchildren and before his retirement worked as a landscape gardener.
“Funeral arrangements will be made later.”
