THE Rotary Club of Westbury collected for Whizz Kids and Dorothy House outside Morrisons in Westbury on Saturday and Sunday 15th and 16th February.
They raised £204.52, and would like to thank all those who gave so generously for two worthy causes.
Rotary in District 1200 (Somerset, West Wiltshire, West Dorset are proud to be long term members of the Emergency Voluntary Agencies Group under the wing of the Civil Contingencies Unit (CCU) of Somerset CC.
Rotarians are offering help with accommodation for those displaced by the recent flooding on the Somerset Levels, sourcing dry animal feed (a big issue now), and helping with many other tasks to make life just a bit easier for those most effected.
The emergency services are now in control of all movement in these areas but Rotary are ready to respond if called upon.
So, when the residents need help to put their lives back together Rotarians plan to be there to help them.
If you can help in any way please contact either your local club of Westbury or to make a financial donation, direct to the District Treasurer.

The address to send a donation is: Rory O’Donnell – Rotary International District 1200 Treasurer, Fluor House, Kingston St Mary, Taunton, Somerset, TA2 8AJ.
Once again a large thank you from the Rotary Club of Westbury.
