ORGANISERS are gearing up for the Westbury Transport and Vintage Gathering that is taking place at the top field in Bratton on the B3098 on Saturday 22nd to Sunday 23rd April.
This will be the 27th year the show has been running and it will feature a variety of classic and vintage vehicles and machinery including cars, trucks, motorcycles, fire engines, stationary engines and tractors.
Organiser Keith Miller said, “We like to encourage an interest in our heritage and therefore all children are free, with no age limits. On top of that, all parking is free, and we never levy a charge on exhibitors, we just welcome them when they come along. There will be also be a variety of stalls and catering available for people to enjoy.
“At our first event we charged visitors £2.00 each and that is still our charge. On Saturdays the Faresaver bus service between Trowbridge and Devizes passes the gate.”
