THE Westbury Wheelers Wild Women cycled their way to victory at the Eastgate Runway Rumble last month, as the furthest all female team.
Diane Hier, Fiona Price, Liz Kemp and Karen Jones-McMullun completed 114 laps of a 2.3 mile circuit in four hours, beating the Feisty Friday Femmes by just one lap.
Diane Hier was also placed second individual female overall cycling 33 laps, 76 miles in four hours, with an average speed of 19mph.
Diane will be taking on the Weymouth Ironman festival in September along with Liz and Fiona.
Ultra Runner specialist Karen is currently in training to take on some more cycling and triathlon type events in 2017.
Liz Kemp came 4th individually, Fiona Price 8th and Karen Jones-McMullen 28th.
The foursome are all members of successful female Westbury Wheelers cyclists.
