Westbury Youth FC has successfully hosted what’s become known as “The Best Little Tournament in Wiltshire”.
Over the course of three action-packed days – Friday through to Sunday 20th to 22nd June – the tournament brought together 250 teams and more than 1,800 players – boys, girls, and ladies – from across the region.
“With nearly 1,500 enthusiastic parents and supporters cheering from the sidelines, the atmosphere was electric,” said the Westbury Youth FC committee. “A packed-out Redland Lane played host to brilliant football, outstanding teamwork, and a spirit of togetherness that made everything run seamlessly.

“Glorious sunshine provided perfect conditions as the teams competed in League, Shield and Cup competitions.
“This year’s tournament somehow managed to top 2024 — no small feat — and that’s thanks to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved. The sense of community and sportsmanship on display was something truly special.
“Westbury Youth FC would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all players, coaches, parents, supporters, sponsors, and the many volunteers who made the event possible. As a volunteer-run, non-profit organisation, events like this simply wouldn’t happen without the incredible time, energy, and commitment that so many people give so generously. A special mention goes to Cameron Dawes, who excelled in his second year as tournament director.”
