THE countdown is on until Westbury’s first ever Oktoberfest at the Horse and Groom and tickets are selling fast.
The festival is being organised by four local men, Bob Musker, Andy Murray, Terry Stone and Bruce Hewitson and will take place on Saturday 22nd October. All profits will go to local causes including Westbury Leigh Primary School and The Welfare of the Elderly.
The inaugural event will run from 12-10pm and nine award winning cask conditioned ales have been purchased, plus three authentic German Oktoberfestbiers, all of these have won top German Festival Awards.
It promises to be a great event with live music from M.G.B Acoustic-ish and Stamp to keep everyone entertained throughout the day.
