MAKE sure you have Saturday 22nd October free for Westbury’s very first Oktoberfest, to be held at The Horse and Groom on Alfred Street.
The festival is being organised by four local men, Bob Musker, Andy Murray, Terry Stone and Bruce Hewitson and all profits will go to local causes.
The inaugural event will run from 12-10pm and already nine cast conditioned ales and three genuine German lagers will be available. Plus several musical acts have been booked to keep everyone entertained throughout the day.
Organisers are hoping this will be a great success and become an annual event in the town. Further details will be announced in the White Horse News nearer the event.
