What’s On at Charlie’s Bar

SIXTIES icons The Bachelors will be making their final farewell tour this year, and stopping off at Trowbridge Civic Centre where they will be joined by singer Craig Douglas in an event organised by Westbury’s Imperial Charity.

“It’s always sad to know you will be seeing your favourite singing group for the very last time and will only have their golden records to remember them by,” says David McCance of Imperial Charity.

“That golden voice group of the 60s, The Bachelors, are now starting their national farewell tour and it will be your chance to bid them goodbye when they appear at the Trowbridge Civic Centre on Saturday May 23rd.

“They will be bringing back to life most of their million-selling golden hits such as ‘Charmaine’, ‘Diane’, ‘I Believe’, ‘Sound of Silence’, ‘I Wouldn’t Trade You For The World’, ‘Ramona’, ‘Marie’, ‘The Unicorn’, and many more.

“Along with The Bachelors you will be able to see another 60s icon in Craig Douglas, who also was awarded golden records for such hits as ‘Only Sixteen’, ‘When my Little Girl is Smiling’, ‘O Lonesome Me’, ‘Heart of a Teenage Girl’, ‘Time’ and many more.

“Funnyman Gary Dorsey will be fronting the show with his very own type of comedy and the Terry Hill Big Band will be supporting.”

The show commences at 7.30pm on Saturday May 23rd at the Trowbridge Civic Centre and tickets  are £10 from the box office.

“This show is not to be missed as it will be the last time you see the band!” added David.
