ENTRIES are now open for the White Horse Gallop, a hilly eight-mile trail run, now a regular fixture in Westbury again after its return last year.
The run will take place on Sunday 23rd October starting at 10.30am.
Organiser Darren Wrintmore said, “The White Horse Gallop trail run is back! It will be the new tougher route again this year, running 8 miles from Leighton Recreation field to the top of the hill to get you up close and personal with the White Horse.
“The picturesque course will then take you back down to the foot of the hill before climbing up alongside the chalk figure. The run also takes in sections of the Imber Range Path and the Wessex Ridgeway, with all finishers receiving a unique memento of the event.”
Entries cost £14 per affiliated runner or £16 for unattached runners. Runners are advised to register online with any remaining places available for £20 on the day. To register visit www.stampedesports.com
