THE Wiltshire Chilli Fest is set to heat up Westbury on September 25th with a chilli-eating competition hosted by TV’s ‘UK Chilli Queen’ Shahina Waseem, plus a circus workshop for kids and an all-day chilli market.
The scorching event, run by Westbury Town Council, will feature themed acts including Tequila Mariachi and the hugely popular Bath outfit Samba de Jamba.
As the music flows, parents can sit and tuck into food from around the world while their El niño’s take part in a circus workshop, learn how to draw Day of the Dead skulls or watch the live magician on stage.
“The Chilli Fest will definitely have something for everyone, especially if you like good music, great food and loads to do for kids,” said Ryan Child, Westbury Town Council events manager.
The event is completely free and runs from 1pm – 7pm. Last minute stallholder bookings are still available although spaces are limited. For any event enquiries, contact events@ westburytowncouncil.gov.uk.
