Buy a ticket in Wiltshire Air Ambulance’s Grand Spring Draw and you could win £5,000.
The annual Draw raises much needed funds for this life-saving service, which this year enters its 25th year. This year’s Draw was launched by Sadia Chant, whose two children, Emmy and Max, were involved in a car accident last year. Max, 11, needed urgent treatment and was airlifted by Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
Max was flown to Bristol Children’s Hospital. He suffered a broken back, fractured collarbone, duodenum fluid leaking into the pelvic area along with many abrasions and swellings and has undergone several operations. He is recovering well and has returned to school.
Sadia, of Chippenham said, “Max was extremely lucky, things could easily have been far, far worse. We are so proud of our little boy, he is and always will be, our beautiful hero. Every time I look at my son, I’m so thankful that Wiltshire Air Ambulance was there for him. The crew’s amazing knowledge and judgement saved him.
“That’s why I helped to launch the Grand Spring Draw – a great way to help raise the £6,850 a day Wiltshire Air Ambulance needs to keep flying. So please buy a book of tickets or sell tickets to friends and family and help raise funds for this amazing and essential service.”
As well as the top prize of £5,000, there is £250 for second prize, £100 for third prize and three £50 consolation prizes.
Tickets are £1 each and there are 10 tickets per book. To obtain tickets please call 01380 739453 and tickets will be posted to you. You must be 16 years of age or over to purchase or sell tickets.
The Draw is operated on behalf of WAA by The Air Ambulance Lottery Society and ticket stubs and payments must be returned to Unit 4, Appletree Barns, Folly Lane, Copdock, Ipswich, IP8 3JQ by 18th March 2015. The Draw will be made on 21st March 2015.
