A YOUNG woman from Dilton Marsh successfully completed a skydive last month raising over £600 for the National Deaf Children’s Society.
22 year-old Holly Easterling decided to raise money for the children’s charity after her younger sister Darcie was diagnosed with profound bilateral hearing loss and had to have cochlear implants fitted.
Holly said, “I wasn’t nervous at all before the jump and I’m so pleased to have raised £646 for the charity.”
Darcie said, “I loved Holly doing the skydive and I can’t wait to do it myself but I have to wait until I’m 16. I’m very proud of my big sister.”
