A five-week course of women-only golf sessions is launching at Erlestoke Golf Club this month to allow women to try the sport in a relaxed and supportive environment.
The Women on Par course starts on Saturday 19th September and will run for five weeks with each one-hour session tailored to the ability of the group.
“It will take them through every aspect of learning, from the basics right the way through,” said professional golfer Steve Blazey, who is running the sessions.
“Everyone will go through the same process of learning from the very basics, because it is a beginner’s group. We will be teaching the right grips, and then there’s a follow-on course after that, if they want to carry on and advance.”
Sessions cost £10 per person, which includes a glass of prosecco and cake.
