YARNBROOK Chapel will this month be part of the nationwide Heritage Open Days, and then hold a service to celebrate its 140th anniversary.
The open day will be on Saturday 13th September from 10am-4.00pm. It will have a display of over 30 old bibles, historical archives, children’s activities and refreshments.
There will then be an Anniversary Thanksgiving Service led by Andrew Jones on Sunday 14th September at 3pm.
The building on Westbury Road was officially opened as Yarnbrook Baptist Chapel in 1874. It has since become non-denominational.
Parking will be available at The Longs Arms by permission.
