WESTBURY police have released a CCTV image of a group of young people they would like to speak to in connection with an incident where some geese were injured.
They say, “It happened at around 5.30pm on Friday 26 July 2019 when stones were thrown at a group of geese which live on fenced private land in Eden Vale Road, Westbury.
“One of the geese was injured and they were all left distressed by the incident.”
PC Tom Crabtree, from Wiltshire West community policing team said, “Please could people look at the picture and let us know if you recognise any of the boys in the photograph.
“This was a horrible incident which has understandably upset the owner of the geese, who is concerned about them being injured again in the future.”
Anyone with information should call PC Crabtree on 101, quoting crime reference 54190073758. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
