Bratton Primary School has been celebrating the wonderful achievements of one of its pupils, a medal-winning horn player.
Young pupil Isobel was presented with the ABRSM Tenor Horn Platinum Music Medal certificate in March, meaning she has passed all five music medals. The ABRSM is one of five examination boards accredited by Ofqual to award graded exams and diploma qualifications in music within the UK’s National Qualifications Framework.
Louise Bunce, health and safety officer at Bratton Primary School, said, “Isobel is the first E-flat tenor horn player in the whole of the United Kingdom to have achieved passing the platinum music medal. It is such an accolade, and we are very proud of her achievements.”
Isobel was presented with a medal and a certificate in front of her entire school at a celebration assembly to recognise her success.
