Westbury Area Board has launched a youth survey in order to identify the needs of young people in the community.
All people between the ages of 11 and 19 (or up to 25 with a learning disability) are encouraged to complete the survey to give their views on youth provision within the community area.
Community engagement manager Graeme Morrison said, “Following the recent youth-themed area board meeting, we felt that there was a need to find a way to talk to young people in the area to find out what they think about the local area and the types of services or activities that would improve their lives.
“The area board has funding to address some of these needs and we need to make sure the funds are directed to the best projects that will really make a difference. Other area boards around the county have produced similar surveys and have had an excellent response. The survey only takes a few minutes so I really hope that young people will take this opportunity to make their voice heard.”
