Westbury Community Area Board is moving away from its normal venue this month, as Matravers School hosts the public meeting on Thursday 5th December.
Community engagement manager, Graeme Morrison said, “We are really grateful to Matravers School. It’s brilliant that they have agreed to host this event. We are having a youth theme, so it is a perfect fit.
“The event should be great. We have a group of Year 11 students from Matravers pitching projects from their ‘Future Leaders’ programme to the board, and even the opportunity for tours of the brand new state-of-the-art STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) building that was recently completed at the school.”
The agenda also includes an update from Ryan Child (Westbury Town Council’s events manager) on his plans for the next year and he has some really exciting events lined up.
Westbury Community Area Board’s youth-themed meeting will be held on Thursday 5th December, 6pm – 8pm at the learning resource centre, Matravers (enter via main reception).
