Train to Skaville

The year 2010 saw the end of the road for two legendary local bands, Longshot and Carnaby Street and just by chance at the start of 2011 various members from both bands decided to get it together.

They thought it would be a good idea to play some classic Ska, Reggae and Rocksteady. They were delighted to see the audiences felt the same … Train to Skaville was born!

Saturday 11th March, 8pm
The Smoking Hotshots

The Smokin’ Hotshots are an authentic 3 piece band playing music exclusively from the 1950s era of rock n roll.

Featuring Grant on stand up double bass, Stuart on guitar and Craig on drums, The Smokin’ Hotshots deliver an exciting and polished show with covers from all the great 1950s artists such as Elvis, Gene Vincent, Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochran and Ricky Nelson.

The driving rhythm section from Craig and Grant is superbly complimented by Stuart’s fine attention to detail in his guitar playing and it’s all polished off with some fine vocal harmonies.

All styles are covered from the well known rock ‘n’ roll hits, to Jivers, Strollers, Rockabilly and even harmonised doo-wop.

The Smokin’ Hotshots have a wealth of experience playing to all types of audiences and venues, both in the UK and abroad.

If you are looking for an authentic 1950s Rock n Roll band for your event or venue, then you need to look no further than the Smokin’ Hotshots.
