Year 3 children at Westbury Junior School went to Morrisons last week to learn about where food comes from and how to make pizzas.
The trip was arranged as part of a topic about healthy eating, where the children have discovered how far food has travelled and what foods are good for them. Many of the children tried some vegetables that they had never tasted before.
Mrs Ross, year 3 teaching assistant said, “It is wonderful to see the children attempting new foods and many used them on their pizzas.”
Year 3 will be visiting Charmouth to hunt for fossils in June and are very much looking forward to it.
