ALL schools in Westbury have been praised for achieving at least ‘Good’ in the latest Ofsted reports, giving children the best opportunities for a bright future.
“All children in Westbury now have the opportunity to attend a school in the town which is rated at least ‘Good’ by Ofsted,” said Debbie Grimsey, chair of WASP (Westbury Area Schools Partnership).
“This is a big step forward for the community of Westbury, with much to be celebrated and upheld.
“Good schools are places where children thrive, want to get involved in making their community a better place for everyone and actively take responsibility in shaping the future.
“Our children today are making the very best of every opportunity available to them and our future looks bright with children actively seeking to be a part of their community and making changes for the better.
“Bitham Brook, Bratton, Chapmanslade, Dilton Marsh, Matravers, Westbury Infants, Westbury Juniors and Westbury Leigh are providing a range of unique and high quality learning environments enabling children today a chance to develop and grow, not only academically, but in their social, moral, personal and physical development.
“Our local schools are supporting the next generation to be stronger, resilient and courageous in taking responsibility for their actions, being the best they can be and ensuring that everyone has the chance to stand out and shine.”
