TWO Westbury churches will reopen for services on Easter Day (Sunday 4th April).
Holy Trinity Dilton Marsh and All Saints Westbury have announced they will be pleased to welcome people back to worship.
“Seeing the numbers of cases, infections, and hospital admissions decreasing is encouraging, as well as the vaccinations being rolled out across the country,” the White Horse Ministry wrote in its latest newsletter.
“Please be assured that we shall be observing the strict hygiene regulations. People are still required to wear face masks, sanitise their hands and socially distance in our church buildings.”
The churches say the re-openings are something to look forward to as lockdown restrictions begin to ease next month.
Online worship via Zoom will continue as some people will still be unable to come out.
“We look forward to welcoming people back and seeing each other again in person, as we celebrate new life and hope in Jesus Christ,” the churches added.
