Fairfield Farm College students took part in a sponsored bikeathon for Red Nose Day, raising £186 for Comic Relief.
The college reports, “Students took turns taking on a bikeathon challenge, where the aim was to ride the distance from college to Buckingham Palace.
“Everyone put in a fantastic effort, and those taking part each had a 10 minute cycling slot.
“The maths department helped with the distance figures, whilst students were busy pedalling. Those who were still at home shielding were also able to contribute to the efforts, dancing, walking or skipping some of the distance alongside the college students.
“There was also a cake raffle in our Farm Shop, alongside lots of other fun activities.
“A big well done to the Student Council, who did a fantastic job organising the event with safety in mind, and a big thank you to everyone who donated to our fundraiser!”
