AN online fundraising page has been set up to support a family whose house caught fire in Dilton Marsh last week.
Seven crews from the Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called out to Dilton Marsh to deal with a fire that damaged two homes in the High Street. Everyone from the two homes were accounted for and an investigation is underway as to what caused the fire.
One of the comments on the crowdfunding page reads, “It is lovely to see everyone in my village of Dilton Marsh pulling together to help a family who has lost everything. It shows we all care!”
If you would like to support those affected by the fire you can donate at: www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/funding-for-fire-loss-family At the time of writing, £2,250 has been raised.

We have already been collecting cash on the bar as we know every penny can help.
“If you would like to help with any monetary donations, please feel free to pop in and the staff will be happy to keep it safe. We will ensure the families affected get this directly. We have such kind people around us.”
