WESTBURY 68 Squadron Air Cadets could become the victims of their own success if they are unable to recruit a couple of volunteers to help on their squadron evenings.
Due to growing numbers of enthusiastic boys and girls who wish to be part of this exciting organisation, it has resulted in a potential short fall of volunteer helpers.
Cadet volunteer staff are known as civilian instructors and the 68 Squadron are appealing to anyone (male or female) who would be interested in helping out on one or both of their evening meetings on a regular or occasional basis. The cadets meet on a Wednesday and Friday evening at the cadet unit, West End, Westbury from 7.00pm until 9.30pm each week.
Helping young people to develop their skills and personal qualities is a rewarding task and the air cadet staff play an important role in this area. No specific experience is necessary, just a desire to assist young people achieve their full potential.
If you would like to be a part of this important youth work or would like to enquire, without obligation, then please call the commanding officer, Mike Toulouse, on a Wednesday or Friday evening (between 7.00pm and 9.30pm) on 01373 858499.
