Each year Westbury United Reformed Church fills and donates 40 shoe boxes to Operation Christmas Child
Priscilla Gray, on behalf of the church said, “We start collecting items in January! Each month members are asked to bring certain items for the boxes. Thanks to the generosity of members and the knitting done by some we manage to fill 40 boxes.
“Having heard one year about a child who used the wrapping paper from her box to put on her wall as it had no wall paper, the first item in each box is a piece of Christmas wrapping paper.”
