Dilton Marsh royalty were crowned at the village carnival on Saturday 28th June.
Wessex Carnival Queen, Aleesha White, presented Butterfly Princess Caroline South, age 5 from Dilton Marsh, and Carnival Princess Milly Takle, age 9 from Westbury Leigh, with their cups. Judging of the Carnival royalty took place at the Village Day at Dilton Marsh Primary School on Saturday 14th June.
This year’s carnival theme was ‘Down on the Farm’ and included Magic Moments Animal Parties with animals of all sizes, entertainment, refreshments, games and stalls plus a special grand draw.
Chair of the Dilton Marsh Carnival committee, Kathy Hutt said, “We aim to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with plenty for the children to do.”
