LOCAL hospice, Dorothy House, has some spooktacular fun in store for all the family this October half-term with an interactive Monster Halloween Hunt.
“This is a treasure hunt unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before and we are calling on kids of all ages to help us find the monsters that have hidden across our three locations,” explains the charity.
“You can choose to join in the fun in either Trowbridge, Chippenham or Bath, whichever town is closest to you. All you have to do is register online for your chosen hunt location and then we will send you your digital treasure hunt map via email.
“The map will show you where we have hidden our Monster Hunting QR codes on posters throughout each town, which you can scan with your smartphone to snag your monster. The QR codes will unlock fun facts, jokes plus the chance to take a monster selfie with each character you meet along the way.
“As an extra treat this Halloween, every person who registers for the Monster Hunt will be automatically entered into a draw to win £20 Marks & Spencer’s vouchers.
“And because we know that the life of a Monster Hunter can be busy, you can take part in the hunt at a pace that suits you. The event will run from Saturday, October 23rd to Sunday 31st meaning that you can either complete the hunt in one day or take it at your own leisurely pace.
“Registering for a map is just £5 and your donation will help towards funding the continued vital care Dorothy House provides in our communities every single day.”
