OVER 40 women gathered for Ascot Ladies Day at White Horse Country Park for an event that organisers deemed a success.
The event saw everyone all dressed up as if they were heading to Ascot and began the day with Pimm’s and canapes followed a summer lunch with an onsite bookies was also available to place bets.
Manager of the White Horse Country Park, Hannah Bowden said, “The day was a huge success and it seemed like everyone enjoyed themselves.
“It was a glorious day to enjoy some pimms, canapes, lunch, cream teas and champagne whilst having a few bets on some horses with the fantastic onsite bookies Rodney Pullman and Valerie Hope! In all there were around 40-45 ladies all dressed in fantastic outfits and wonderfully colourful hats. Well done ladies for a brilliant turn out.”
Sue Adams won the award for ‘best dressed’ and Frankie Rhodes won the award for “best hat or fascinator.”
