An annual charity bingo night held at the Westbury Leigh Community Hall recently raised over £500 for Alzheimer’s Society. The event, on Friday 2nd June, proved to be popular with around 65 people in attendance.
A spokesperson for the night said, “We would like to thank the players and members of the community who generously supported the event and also a thank you to the many people who also donated prizes towards the evening.
“Thanks go to the following businesses for their generous donations to provide prizes: Center Parcs, The Hollies Inn, Zia Pizza, Tesco Express, Eastern Paradise, Morrisons, The View, The Bell at Standerwick, Jolly Friar and The Hair Company.”
