WESTBURY Leigh Community Hall held its annual fundraising bingo evening on Friday 4th March in aid of the multiple sclerosis society, MS Society UK.
£582 was successfully raised after around 70 players took part in the charity bingo night, with some players winning great prizes for their efforts.
A spokesperson for the charity night said, “The Hall would like to thank the local businesses that very kindly donated prizes for this event, The Hollies Inn, Tesco Express, Zia Pizza, Kondition, Jolly Friar, Morrisons, Eastern Paradise, Harlees Fish Bar, The Hair Company, Elkins Ford, The Memorial Theatre Frome & Westway Cinema Frome, plus a number of donations from various other generous people.”
The Hall holds a monthly bingo on the first Friday of each month, with eyes down 7.30pm with proceeds going to the upkeep of the hall – any enquiries please contact Beryl Drake on 01373 823 971.
