THERE are two events coming up next month at the Jubilee Hall in Bratton – get the dates in your diary and don’t miss out!
First up, on Sunday 8th October there will be a Table Top sale, from 10am to 1pm – sellers will have access to the Jubilee Hall for setting up from 8.30am. As well as an array of stalls, there will also be refreshments.
So if you are considering a “spring” clean this autumn or if you do craftwork and want to sell your items, please contact Sally Greenwood on 07773 320922 or e-mail sally52.greenwood@ gmail.com to book a table. Tables will cost £10 each. If you are not considering selling anything, then please come along and see if there is anything you would like to buy, you never know, Christmas is just around the corner!
Then, on Friday 20th October, the next Supper Night takes place from 6.30-8pm and everyone is welcome. Very reluctantly, the committee has increased the price of the Supper Nights to ensure they can continue.
There will continue to be served a choice of starter followed by a large fillet of fish with chips, mushy or garden peas and fried mushrooms. There will be alternatives of scampi, or sausage and egg with baked beans or a “meal of the day” which could be any one of toad in the hole, hot-pot or maybe even lasagna. The price of the fish will now be £8.50 and the alternatives will cost just £8. A children’s menu is available.
