A recent burglary has been reported at the Tin Church at Brokerswood, where someone got into the church and stole three old oil lamps that have been lighting the church since the late 1950s.
These lamps were gifted to the church by a grateful parishioner. The Police are not clear how entry was made as there are no signs of a break-in.
The church, which has been on this site for more than 100 years was recently listed Grade 2 by English Heritage.
The Friends of the Church are saddened by the theft and ask if anyone can provide any information to help recover the lamps.
