LOCAL woodland activity centre Hidden Woods, established by Steve Sutherland from Dilton Marsh, has been nominated in two categories of the national What’s On 4 Junior Awards.
The awards, which are now in their eighth year, celebrate the best activities, classes, people and places throughout the country as nominated and voted for by parents and carers.
Hidden Woods founder and Forest School leader Steve Sutherland said, “We’re both amazed and flattered to have been nominated for these prestigious awards – one for our outdoor toddler group and the other for our school holiday activities. We’ve had a fantastic time playing and learning in the woods since we launched two years ago, and to be recognised in this way is the icing on the cake.”
Hidden Woods will now go through to the national voting stage of the competition, with parents and carers having until 15th May to vote for their activities at www.whatson4littleones.co.uk.
Based in an 80-acre wood near Farleigh Hungerford, Hidden Woods provides woodland events and activities for children and adults alike, from toddler groups and birthday parties through to overnight family camps and corporate team days.
