Eric and Anne Pelling, founders of care company Butterfly, recently welcomed clients from Wiltshire and Bath to a spring tea party.
Each year, the couple, who live in Wiltshire, invite clients to come to tea, meet each other and share a social experience. They even arrange transport for those don’t have access to a car.
Anne said, “It was lovely to see clients and carers socialising and having a happy and relaxed afternoon together while enjoying the entertainment and afternoon tea. Everyone’s hard work and generosity with the preparations and transport contributed to a successful afternoon. We are looking forward to the next one.”
Guests were entertained by singer Calvin Thomas, himself a spritely 95 years old.
Butterfly was created by Anne and Eric Pelling eight years ago in Bath and they expanded the business into Wiltshire during 2013. They hold tea parties for clients twice a year.
