A WESTBURY carer has contacted the White Horse News to heap praise on a local women for her charitable work.
Michelle Bateman who is registered blind has donated a box of food to Edington Church and Crosspoint every month for the past two years as well as making large cash donations. Further to that she joins in the Operation Christmas child shoe box appeal each year and helps in the fight against animal abuse.
Her carer Richard Dredge said, “She is a wonderful woman with a great heart and has done so much for the Westbury community. She is always thinking of others first and I thought she deserved to be recognised, that;’s why I contacted the White Horse News.
“This year Michelle will be joining in with even more fundraising as she hopes to add Wiltshire Air Ambulance to the list of people she helps.”
