Westbury Junior School held their annual presentation assembly in the last week of term.
It was attended by the Mayor of Westbury, cllr Gordon King and his wife, Carole, who handed out a huge amount of certificates and trophies to children from all year groups.
Trophies included sports person of the year, highest attainment of the year and prefect of the year.
Headteacher, Richard Hatt said, “I am so incredibly proud of the children and staff at our school, in particular our year 6 children who have achieved our highest ever Sats results – 16% higher than the national average!
“Particular mention must go to Lohan, who won both the Governor’s progress cup, as well as the cup for the most improved academically.
“It has been a phenomenal year for our school and we look forward to building on our successes next year.”
