BRATTON Silver Band is performing a concert as part of the Westbury Festival at Holy Trinity Church, Dilton Marsh on Friday 30th September at 7.30pm.
The concert will feature a varied programme of music including The Lost Village of Imber, written by Christopher Bond (composer), commissioned to mark the band’s 160th anniversary with the support of Arts Council England and The Norman Jones Trust Fund.
The music will be set to images of Imber and this special performance celebrates both local history with the story of the lost village as well as the historic band itself.
This event has been organised with Holy Trinity Church and all profits will go to support the church.
