JOIN Westbury and the surrounding villages to celebrate older people at a special event on Monday 21st January at The Laverton from 10am.
The event, free to Westbury community residents aged 65+, will feature information, entertainment and lunch in partnership with Age UK and Wiltshire Council.
Funded by Westbury Area Board and Westbury Town Council, the event aims to raise awareness about help available to the older generation, as well as celebrating the contribution they make in the community.
Information stands from Age UK, The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust, Public Health, Dorset and Wiltshire Fire & Rescue, Westbury Shed, Alzheimers Support, Crosspoint and a local wellness therapist will be on hand to answer any questions.
There will be entertainment from Matravers School and talks from Jerry Wickham and Julian Kirby, a seated exercise taster and a falls awareness talk.
