First Bus has made some services changes to its routes that travel from Wiltshire into Bath which will affect Westbury.
The new route will see the 265 service between Warminster and Salisbury reduced from hourly to every two hours and will no longer run through The Ham and the West Wilts Trading Estate due to limited passenger numbers. The service will now operate a direct route via Hawkeridge Road.
Andrew Sherrington, general manager of First Bath, Wells & Weston-Super-Mare said, “This service needed a significant review so that it is better tailored to the level of demand and passengers can enjoy a faster journey.
“When reviewing this service, it was important that all of the key journeys are being retained throughout, and passenger commutes are not disrupted.”
